Ronela Hajati’s second single release this month takes her back to the comfort zone of Albanian music after her recent – and enjoyable – foray into the Italian music scene.
Valle (English: Dance) is characterised by Hajati’s positively aggressive and confident femininity. This is the Ronela Hajati show. The dark and pulsating intro with drums lifted from the same environment of those used on Sekret set the scene.
This new single isn’t Hajati’s most enjoyable release to date. It lacks any natural peaks and troughs and an emphatic crescendo would’ve added a lot. However, it fits her most used musical style perfectly and the sound will please her fans greatly.
