Georgia: Nutsa Buzaladze – Firefighter Review

Image – Dimitrov

Georgia’s Nutsa Buzaladze is the main character on Darko Dimitrov’s most behemoth Eurovision contribution yet.

Firefighter is packed with loudness and volume, but it avoids falling into the pits of bombast. The lopping drums in the chorus are a melody of their own, and complement Buzaladze’s own vocal hook. It’s a masterstroke of production.

There are mixed metaphors here and there, but they are drowned out by the star attraction; Buzaladze’s voice. It’s the complete package.

If there’s any justice, Firefighter should take Georgia back to the Eurovision Grand Final for the first time in eight years.
