
If my best friend was part of Megara, I’d still tell them that 11:11 was a bad song.
From word go, this song is an all out attack on the senses. An unsolicited one, at that. There should be a boundary between each verse and chorus, instead the lines are blurred at a difficult volume.
There are some otherwise lovely flecks of Spanish guitar in the bridge and it’s a nice nod to the band’s Spanish origin, but in this assault of a song it’s just a jarring transition.
11:11 isn’t an authentic rock song; it’s a placeholder.
