Spain: Nebulossa – Zorra Review

Cheap and cheerful often go hand in hand. It’s a shame Nebulossa didn’t add any cheer to the cheapness of Zorra

Listening to this song is like being stuck in a grimey and cliched musical no man’s land between the 1980s and 1990s. I am hurrying the song to end before it’s barely even begun.

Lyrically, Zorra is an anthem for female empowerment, revolting against the negativity the Spanish word carries. It’s a crying shame the music doesn’t elevate the genuine power of the text further.

Another year, another missed Eurovision opportunity for Spain.
