Alexander’s voice is so stimulating. He has a glittering range that he effortlessly wanders up and down, creating moments of sonic sexiness.
Danny L Harle has waved his magic wand all over this. The attention to detail in every layer of the production is second to none. It’s masterful. It’s modern. It’s 2024.
But… There’s an umph missing from the chorus. It’s catchy and pleasant and it wriggles right inside my ear, but it doesn’t make itself a home. It just stops by for a bit.
I wouldn’t say I feel dizzy; just a little unsteady.
