Albania’s Eurovision identity has vanished in a flash with Besa’s English-language revamp of Titan. 

A ticking clock is the only noticeable element in the first minute or so, and it’s a representation of my patience ticking away. 

Titan has a pleasant and memorable melody, but it’s a cheap, yellow-stickered one at best. The grander second chorus almost rescues the song from the depths of despair. 

It’s not as dramatic as the eagles flying off, but Titan is so unauthentic and so unoriginal. Albania deserves better.
